REAL SAT/ACT advice

I got into the #1 public university in the world. And I want to help you too.  Here are my tips.   I'm a big believer of transparency when it comes to college admissions. I hate all the secrecy that surrounds it, and the nasty competition as well. My question to you is: why can't we all just succeed? There are so many individuals who try so hard, but are at a disadvantage because they don't know all the "secret tips" that other, "top students" may know to succeed. So my purpose on here and on other platforms is to bridge the gap between the two.  I'm here to answer your questions on college admissions, honestly, with no secrecy. And also, I'm here to give the study guide that helped me get a 34 on the ACT (1520 SAT) and get into my top college.  ****** Now that my spiel is over, I wanted to share the most helpful strategy I have for studying for the SAT. It specifically refers to  HOW to read the prep books that you pur

Cartilage piercings hurt :)

Cartilage piercings hurt :)  I'm going to get into my experience with cartilage piercings. They're really cute and all, and they also look quite professional (so, double-win!)  I walk into the mall, with the plan to get a double helix piercing on both ears, so 4 piercings. My sister is beside me, as we both plan on getting the same thing.  credits: google search But then, they tell us about the price (it's about $30 more than we expected, of COURSE), and things get tense so my sister decides to not get her ears pierced (too much money!)  So I go in there, decide to get some nice silver hoops and I'm quite nervous (while my mother is quite scared).  First one goes in. Not bad at all.  Second one, same ear. Little lower. Ouch.  Then the piercer asks me to turn my head over so he can do the other side.  At this point, I can really feel the pain in my right ear!  So I turn my head over, bracing myself.  I try to forget h

Dacre Montgomery is KING!

Dacre Montgomery - thank you for being real.  " I will not squander the opportunities I have been given. " For those of you who don't know Dacre Montgomery, he's an incredible actor on Stranger Things. He plays Billy, Max's older brother.  credits: google search He's a hunk of a character - he smokes, gets all the girls, and he's got a bad side to him.  But behind the wonderful acting is a man who is SO inspirational...SO real. He posted a series of posts on his instagram, describing how many times he failed over the course of his acting career, and giving inspiration to all the young actors and actresses (and artists, entrepreneurs of any type) - to NEVER give up.  But the way he said it was so raw and powerful, and was so appreciated by young, measly entrepreneurs like myself.  Here are some wonderful snippets from what he said:  "When I was a kid, I was lost. I had a really tough time in school.  I was a big kid who loved drama. I
